Frog in my throat, or possibly sea urchin. . . .

Blargh. I've been mildly sick for maybe a week or so now. The main theme of this sickness is the feeling I have something stuck in my throat that I just can't clear. Not with any amount of coughing. Monday it reached its apex: I had the fun fever-chill combo, plus the feeling that someone was doing a handstand on my lungs. Blargh.

I'm giving a talk on Saturday, so I'm hoping this thing eases up enough for me to make it through a half-hour at least. The cool part is that the meeting is in Chicago and I'll probably get alot of great input on my project. I'll also hopefully visit the Shedd Aquarium and *maybe* the Field Museum.

Man, I thought I was busy these last couple of months, but really, NOW I'm busy. Work is taking off more, and still I've gotta finish those thank you notes. . . My dreams phase between the wedding, driving from WI to WV, and lab experiments. Oh dear, oh dear.
