Too many dreams in one night!

There really is no knowing, predicting when my brain is going to be a busy little bee all night. Maybe it was the Classic Eggs Benedict from Perkins in my stomach? I had lots of dreams last night: I was giving lab meeting but couldn’t find my presentation; I was talking research and publications with other lab folks; I was playing outside an elementary school; I was driving down a WV country road to a party a highschool friend was throwing, but realized I wasn’t dressed right so I turned around and drove back, passing my pal Jonah on the way—I assumed he would recognize my car.

A busy brain!

Oh well. Excitement builds as the WV trip comes closer. The more time you spend in a place, the more heavy and 3-Dimensional it becomes in your head. These are the places you can close your eyes and walk around. Many times, I do. And so I’m already sitting on both porches, and simultaneously eating eggs that Dad cooked and drinking coffee that Mom brewed. I will pretend to be anything but an adult, just for a little while. Right now, that sounds like the best kind of vacation. Also, it comes complete with siblings, cats and dogs INCLUDING a pug! And I can smell all the green already. . .
